Overview


Steven’s Goal is to identify, contact, qualify and evaluate businesses for potential acquisition on behalf of his Client. Steven Abraham & Team will lead the search and make initial contact with businesses & companies who meet the initial criteria developed in conjunction with the client. Steven will assist in evaluating the businesses that meet his client’s interest, assist in gathering business information and facilitate meetings with business owners. Steven will also facilitate the due diligence process, eventual offers and purchase agreements.

Steven is seeking businesses on behalf of his clients and to find the perfect opportunities, it can take days, weeks and sometimes months of dedication. Many business brokers in various states, charge their clients a retainer fee, Steven doesn’t. All Steven asks, is that the client be dedicated to working with him, as he invests hours and days into discovering and presenting the best opportunities to his client.

Process


The Abraham Team, through research and information provided by the Client, will prepare a series of introductory letters and emails, as well as a summary of their client’s work experience and acquisition criteria, and investment profile, to be used in contacting the prospect list.
The Team’s Goal is to approach and work with the companies they believe will meet their client’s general criteria of location, size, and industry.

Initial contact is made via a phone call and a personal email from Steven that describes their Buyer and propositions the prospect with a highly qualified, motivated and real Buyer. Then a confidentiality agreement will be completed by the Buyer and forwarded to the representative selling the business. Within a couple of days, typically, the representative will forward a Business Packet, containing the financials of the business to the Abraham Team. Once received, all will be delivered directly to their client. If all appears favorable, the next step is to visit the business opportunity to walk the business. Should all appear interesting to the client, an Offer will be submitted. If a meeting of the minds Is reached, the next step is the opening of Escrow. Depending upon the type of business, Escrow can typically take 90-120 days. During the Escrow period the buyer will conduct their full due diligence, negotiate with the landlord, study and verify the financials, etc.
